This a bunch of BS, they would never let third parties get away with this. What? You are wondering. Well, a new Texas law states that canidates can not file after 70 days before an election. Now, the reason I bring this up is because when the information was released that Bob Barr was the only canidate that had filed in time(although other third parties qualified as write ins), mysteriously, overnight. McCain and Obama's paperwork appeared, the state of Texas claimed that Obama and McCain had sent an intent to file, well, Texas has no such a thing, either you are on the ballot, (or qualify as a write in), or you're not on it. Period. The two major parties work so hard to get the third parties off the ballot (like in Pennsylvania, where we followed all the rules)!, that they don't even have time to file thier own paper work. Whether or not you support libertarians or not, I think most would admit that this is wrong. If they didn't follow the rules, and if third parties don't get second chances, why should they? The laws are designed to keep third parties off the ballot, but this time, it backfired, but somehow, they get on the ballot, without doing a damn thing. Like I said, even if you don't agree with my ideology, most people should find this kind of behaviour disgusting. Tell everyone you know, if you feel.
